Vote -4! Minister Bianchi and archistars smugly sign a decalogue for unhealthy schools
So much for PNRR and School of the Future. The pandemic has taught nothing to the 'best' who forget the role of dust in the environment.
The 2021-22 school year has begun throughout Italy, but not all school facilities are able to comply with the protocol published by the Ministry of Education on 14 August 2021 to ensure safe school environments for the health of students and staff.
Among the main aspects covered by the protocol are the sanitation of environments (surfaces and air) and indoor air quality. The focus is on the importance of good air exchange by natural or mechanical means.
The aim is to reduce/dilute the concentrations of specific pollutants (e.g. VOCs, PM10, odours, bacteria, viruses, allergens, filamentous fungi, etc.), CO2, relative humidity in the air and, consequently, to contain the risk of exposure and virus contamination for pupils and school staff.
Implementation of the protocol inevitably requires precise and constant measurement of the level of pollutants in indoor air. The level of IAQ affects various aspects such as: the development of the lungs of the youngest students, who are particularly vulnerable as they are in the training phase; the level of concentration and sleepiness; the risk of asthma or allergy attacks.
Given the risk factors linked to IAQ, it is not enough simply to open the windows to change the air or to sanitise desks and desks with disinfectant. It is necessary to use suitable tools such as a central vacuum system to expel outside all those micro-dusts that may constitute a risk factor.
Equipping a school building with a central cleaning system really eliminates the micro-dust outside the building, unlike traditional vacuum cleaners with a mobile tank, which has a positive impact on IAQ and all related issues.
For school staff, the central vacuum system also allows them to carry out cleaning tasks more quickly and comfortably, as they only have to move around the school building between classrooms and other rooms with their vacuum hose and brush.
After a difficult period with DAD, it is essential that school facilities do their utmost to avoid further closures and ensure a safe and healthy environment. With Sistem Air's central vacuum system this is possible.

In kindergartens timely cleaning is essential because in the large rooms where children move and play there are many places where they can come into contact with dirt and bacteria.
Hygiene in schools and kindergartens is essential to prevent the uncontrolled proliferation of germs and bacteria.
